GREENFIELD SACKS

the santa monica art gallery formerly known as the bobbie greenfield gallery was established in 1975 and is located at terminal B6 at BERGAMOT STATION on michigan avenue.

the gallery represents some notable los angeles contemporary artists. the focus is primarily on prints and works on paper. and they work directly with the ANDY WARHOL FOUNDATION and the ROBERT MOTHERWELL ESTATE.

greenfield sacks will be hosting a summer reception on july 11th from 5 to 7pm to launch their two new exhibitions which will be up in the galleries from june 27th through august 29th.

the show will display iconic works by two contemporary masters of our time. 9-david hockney prints of celia and 6-woodcuts by helen frankenthaler. HOCKNEY is one of the best known portrait artists working today and FRANKENTHALER is one of the most prominent artists to emerge from the 2nd-generation of abstract expressionism and often works on a very large scale.
