STARKS

MIAMI DOLPHINS defensive end randy starks got his aggravated battery charges reduced yesterday to a culpable negligence misdemeanor.

his original charge carried a possible prison sentence of 5-years for allegedly swerving in south beach traffic while driving a large truck packed with people on ocean drive last memorial day weekend. he allegedly pinned the police office against another vehicle but the officer was not hurt and it seems as though starks will escape jail time.

randolph starks junior is originally from petersburg virginia and played college football at maryland. he was drafted by the tennessee titans in the 2004-NFL draft and signed a 5-year $21-million dollar contract with the miami dolphins in february of 2008.
