on thursday september 24th hip-hop producers will go head to head with their remixes and accapelas and original beats by flipping samples from THE BEATLES !!
this event will be hosted by FLO and PHILLIPDRUMMOND at the element lounge in san francisco. to enter the BEATLES BEAT BATTLE you can paypal $10-dollars to phillipdrummond at gmail dot com. there will be 16-slots allocated for contestants to enter the competition so get with @PHILTHYDRUMMOND stat if you want to enter!
the first round of the battle will utilize assigned samples. the second round is the sample pack flip where you can use up to 3-samples provided and the third round is the diggin round where you get to dig up any song performed by the beatles from wherever you want and play the original and then the flip. the final round will be an acapella remix of ELEANOR RIGBY.
