
is an 8-episode intervention television show series hosted by the recently deceased DJ-AM on MTV. the network decided to go ahead and air the reality series a week after the new york medical examiners office announced that the celebrity deejay died of a lethal combination of cocaine and prescription drugs including oxycontin and vicodin and klonopin and zanax and ativan and benadryl.
in the series the deejay recruits addicts for rehab. the young addicts are given recording devices to show viewers how they procure and ingest drugs. after the addicts score their drugs of choice dj-am inspires them to go into rehab with a tough love technique.

mtv has joined up with PARTNERSHIP FOR A DRUG FREE AMERICA which will make public service announcements during the scheduled program and has made it very clear that this is a "pro social" reality show that will not be re edited in the wake of the deejays recent death.
