ice cold new album from outkast member BIG BOI is seemingly a little luke warm.
the album entitled sir luscious left foot: the son of chico dusty should be available at the end of this summer probably some time in august. a few of the singles from the album have already been released. royal flush features andre3000 and RAEKWON. another track called somethin's gotta give features mary j. blige and was leaked during the presidential election as unofficial support for barack obama and includes some quotes from the now president. plus that song ringtone which already has over 5,000-plays on IMEEM alone hahahaha . . . and dubbz.
other confirmed appearances on the album include members of the DUNGEON FAMILY and george clinton and TOO $HORT and B.O.B. and chris brown and jamie foxx and jadakiss and ciara and t.i. and more.
big boi has mentioned in several interviews that sir luscious left foot is a soul-centric album and significantly less hip-hop than some of the work he has done in the past. although those were not the words he used. i am hoping the second half of this album is more listenable than the tracks that are already available because creativity aside i am not too impressed with the music im hearing.
