so happy i finally got around to watching this movie! i read the book about a year ago and could not put it down. i am totally not a fast reader but i finished the book in one night. i thought it was such an amazing story and so insightful and helpful and true.
and usually when you read a book and then see the movie it's a let down but that was totally not the case with HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU. i loved it and am actually sort of disappointed that it didn't get better reviews. but i just did my part and gave it 5-stars of FLICKSTER and you can too . . .
first of all and most importantly scarlett johansson and my new favorite actor from THE HANGOVER bradley cooper have a really hot office sex scene. second of all the puerto rican actor wilson cruz who was rickie vasquez in the 1994 tv series MY SO-CALLED LIFE played a part in this amazing film. and third they cast BEN AFFLECK and jennifer aniston as a couple which is practically every american 20-something females dream come true.
as usual drew barrymore did a great job playing herself and looked beautiful. kevin connolly who plays eric the ginger kid in the tv show ENTOURAGE did a great job playing him self and not getting laid. and jennifer connelly who has no relation to kevin did a great job playing a psycho b_tch and scaring off mankind for all eternity.
other highlights of watching this movie included drew barrymore deleting a myspace account which i thought was pretty avant-garde and a good idea all around plus a peek at scarlet johannsen's never ending journery of "self-discovery" and best of all the cheater ends up alone left with nothing but a closet full of dry cleaned clothing a 6-pack of beer and a carton of american spirits. and the f_ck_r deserved it.
