COMME DES GARÇONS is a japanese fashion label that was founded by its current owner rei kawakubo in 1969. the name is french for 'like boys' and they have a dozen boutiques and about 200-vendors around the world including SACKS 5TH AVENUE. the flagship stores for comme des garçons are in tokoys high fashion district called AOYAMA as well as place vendome in paris france.
this month comme des garçons will release 4-new sneakers as part of its play collection in conjunction with converse CHUCK TAYLOR. the brand opened the archives up and went to work on the 1950s original all star shoes that were initially produced by chuck taylor for the united states military.
