MANNYHOOD

Today is Manny Ramirez's last day with the Los Angeles Dodgers and while many of us are sad to see one of L.A.'s number one clowns head outta town we are also pretty over it! He's older now, injured and his goofy antics proved to do more harm than good for L.A. His 2008 numbers were off the charts dope and Chavez Ravine was in love with him - he hit .410 with 21 home runs and 63 RBIs in 61 games. But when he renewed the 2-year contract for $45-milly and got banned from fifty games he proved to be a dead weight for the hometeam and violated the MLB drug policy. He never apologized for letting the down the Dodgers or L.A. fans and after that nothing was ever really the same. And this past season he has been on the disabled list more than in the lineup.

His new first baseman Paul Konerko from the Chicago White Sox had this to say about Manny, "Hopefully he can come in here and give us some help...We need to make up some ground. There's no doubt Manny can hit. He makes any team better." Ramirez will join his 4th major league team, the White Sox tomorrow at Cleveland. Best of luck to ya - Peace Out, Boyscout!
