BAD ROMANCE

Lady Gaga swept the 27th Annual Video Music Awards last night at the Nokia Theater in L.A. taking home 8 different awards out of 16 total - One for Best Collaboration for "Video Phone" with Beyonce and 7 for her video "Bad Romance" in the following categories: Video of the Year, Best Pop Video, Female Video, Dance Music Video, Choreography, Direction and Best Editing. Not to mention her VMA Meat Dress which is kinda old news by now to BtangDaily.com readers - We already saw her wear something very similar on the cover of Japanese Men's Vogue earlier this month.

However Gaga had this to say about her VMA fit today on the Ellen Show: "It's certainly no disrespect to anyone that's vegan or vegetarian. As you know I'm the most judgment-free person on the Earth...However it has many interpretations, but for me this evening it's as if we don't stand up for what we believe in, if we don't fight for our rights, pretty soon we're going to have as much rights as the mean on our bones. And I am not a piece of meat."

It's no shock that U2 came in first and that the list's highest earning female Beyonce came in 3 spots ahead of her hubby Jigga Jay-Z with a salary difference of $24-million dollars.
