is a new video game for wii and xbox 360 and playstation set to be released in north america in late october of this year. like guitar hero the player must perform a song to keep up but instead this new game stimulates TURNTABLISM.
it presents the player with three tracks. the green and blue correspond to the two songs in the mix and the red track for various effects. the symbols below the green and blue tracks represents the position of the crossfader control while the arrow in the middle of the blue track represents the direction the player needs to turn the turntable. the turntable controller that activision is planning to release with the game includes a rotatable turntable a crossfader and an effects dial and a euphoria button.

DJ SHADDOW helped with some of the development and will also be a playable avatar in the game. JAY-Z and eminem have also done some consulting on the development. a special edition will be branded with their names and will include a limited edition controller and a cd with their songs and a dj stand and travel case. CUT CHEMIST and ztrip and djam and DAFT PUNK are all creating mixes for the game.
bigger than hip-hop by DEAD PREZ will appear in the game along with dirt off your shoulder and izzo and the way you move by OUTKAST. universal music group is providing most of the content for this game including other confirmed tracks such as heard it through the grapevine by MARVIN GAYE and time of the season by the zombies and jayou by jurassic-5 and SABOTAGE by the beastie boys. along with some lame tracks too of course. and the game has already been endorsed by english electronic music producer paul oakenfold.
