MEGA FRESH FRIDAYS are officially cracking this summer at SMILES NIGHTCLUB on ventura boulevard in sherman oaks. this event will be hosted weekly by @djsillykid !! and lenny ducano and dj nelz.
for those of you who dont already know DJ SILLY KID is one of the illest motherf_ck_rs around. he spins primarily drum and bass and jungle and hip-hop. and even though i typically frown upon techno music silly kid makes it sound hard with cutty rap samples that will blow your brains out. not to mention he is one of the chillest cats in the universe. oh and he is actually a real live deejay not just some average mac user who has itunes.
smiles is a brand new venue in the vall with very friendly service and great entertainment and amazing drink specials. plus you can pre party at happy hour from 7pm to 9pm. happy hour includes FREE chips and salsa and guac plus $3-heinekens and $4-stellas and $4-wine glasses and $4-well drinks. plus other mega fresh drink specials like $5-jager bombs and great bar food specials like $4-spinach and artichoke dip or $5-fried calamari or $3-quesadillas.
vip and bottle services are available upon request in the upstairs lounge. so come out and support your favorite deejays because they will be spinning old school and hip-hop and top-40 and electro house and indie dance and EAZY-E and whatever else you want to hear till the break of dawn . . . so ellay and not one bit pretentious or lame.
