ITS CALI: THE BAY TO L.A.

bonhams & butterfields auction house is now accepting consignments for the fall modern and contemporary art sales !!

their may auction called MADE IN CALIFORNIA: CONTEMPORARY ART did exceptionally well. both the los angeles and san francisco salesrooms were filled to capacity on auction day signaling that the market for california artwork is still very strong despite the economic climate. the auction brought more than $1.2 million and although the theme was regional there were bidders from around the world competing for works of art by some of the top painters in california.
