the incarcerated rapper jamal barrow aka SHYNE is now going by the name MOSES LEVI after converting to JUDAISM while in prison. a manhattan judge granted today a 2.5-years post release supervision ruling upon leaving prison this fall.
the former BAD BOY recording artist was found guilty of first degree assault and gun possession and reckless endangerment and was convicted in 2001 for his infamous 1999 new york city nightclub case. moses levi is due to be released from RIKERS ISLAND october 6, 2009 and will be allowed to leave new york for touring purposes.
