Dutch Photographer, Ruud Van Empel depicts mostly black children in vibrant jungle scenes and landscapes. Since the late 1990s Van Empel has become known for his eerie looking, digital manipulated pictures of children which include collage and photoshop elements. The Groninger Museum in the Netherlands will exhibit about 80-photoworks of Ruud Van Empel beginning on September 8th, and the exhibition will be accompanied by a catalogue.
