SWIZZ BEATZ has been an art collector for some time now and has recently in the past few years gotten into painting in his own time.
the rapper has donated the money that he earns from his art to the childrens cancer and blood foundation which is a breakthrough organization in the field of pediatric hematology and oncology. last year the organization raised over $450,000-dollars at their first annual contemporary art auction at SOTHEBYS NEW YORK. this year their annual auction will be held at the same location on september 22nd.
inspired by artists like jean michel basquiat and SALVADOR DALI and keith herring and ANDY WARHOL @swizzbeatz recently created a mixed media portrait of MICHAEL JACKSON in memory of the late great king of pop entitled remember the time. and we will hope to see it making loads of cash for cancer in september !!
